Galvanize 2.0

Galvanize 2.0 is a 4 story mixed use urban infill project located in the Platte River area.  The site is located in the Lower Highlands area of Denver, Colorado.

Root Partnership was charged with streetscape and a challenging plaza on the riverfront side of the building.  The plaza had to double as fire truck turnaround while maintaining its loose and playful feel for inhabitants to frequent during the business day.  We utilized a free flowing arrangement of boulders and planting areas to break up the starkly ridged feel of a traditional turnaround.
